If you're familiar with Aspidistras, aka Cast Iron Plants, you already know they are something special; resilient, easy to care for and with some of the most striking foliage you'll ever see on a perennial evergreen. If you're just discovering them, you won't be disappointed!
As their common name suggests, aspidistras are renowned for their ability to tolerate less-than ideal conditions, making them a great option for the beginner gardener or not-so-green thumbed. Whether it's the deep green of the elatior, or the bold stripes of the variegated leaves, they are always a showstopper. And while you sometimes read that they're indestructible, and 'thrive on neglect,' that's not really the case! The right conditions and care will help bring out the best in these often-underrated plants.

Looking for an aspidistra? This is the place! Keep in mind, variegation levels will differ from plant to plant; even the standard elatior usually has some muted colour tones. Please email with any queries or preferences!
- Plants will be sent bare root, so will need potting on arrival; they will be between 30-50cm tall.
- Plants are $15 each. Shipping is $15 carton: one carton fits 1-2 plants. Postage is calculated at checkout
- Plants are grown in an outdoor greenhouse and may contain imperfections. All stock is guaranteed to be healthy
- Due to quarantine restrictions, plants can't be sent WA, TAS or NT
- Plants are posted on Mondays via express post; Tracking details will be sent to the customer shortly after
- Larger plants (200mm pots) can be delivered within the Yass and Canberra regions. Please email any queries about available stock
